the sunday collective
A 12-week coaching cohort for those who need Sundays to be better.
every sunday someone is experiencing the best week of their life or the worst. there’s no such thing as ‘just another sunday’.
Every leader knows it: Sunday is the front door. Guests decide in minutes if they’ll return. Members come needing to be refreshed. Teams depend on clarity and direction to bring it all together.
The challenge is that most churches are carrying this weight without a clear framework. Services are often planned last-minute, worship sets lack strategy, transitions feel awkward, production is inconsistent, and guest follow-up slips through the cracks. The result? Sundays become more about survival than transformation.
The Sunday Collective was created to change that. This 12-week cohort equips leaders in worship, production, creative, and guest experience with a proven playbook for Sundays that are spiritually powerful, seamless in execution, and sustainable for long-term growth

Every week, the pressure is on—you know Sunday has to work. Guests decide in minutes if they’ll return. Members need to be refreshed and reminded why they’re here. And you’re the one carrying the weight to make it all come together.
The Sunday Collective was created for leaders like you—the ones behind the music, the mix, the lights, the flow, the feel. The ones who know that if Sunday falls flat, everything else does too.
This isn’t about hype or copying the latest trend. It’s about sharpening the systems, rhythms, and teamwork that make Sundays consistently powerful—spiritually moving, seamless in execution, and sustainable as your church grows.
Together, in this cohort, you’ll learn, share, and build with a community that understands what it’s like to live in the pressure cooker of the weekend. You’ll walk away with clarity, confidence, and a framework for Sundays that truly work.
You’ll leave with:
x A proven playbook for crafting services that reach unbelievers and disciple believers.
x A weekend framework tailored to your church’s size and context.
x A step-by-step process for turning vision into reality without execution gaps.
x Practical rhythms for leading yourself and your ministry with sustained excellence.

About Your coach
Sheldon J. Andrus III
Sheldon is both a coach and strategist to pastors who want their Sundays to truly resonate. He brings more than 15 years of experience in brand strategy, organizational leadership, and ministry systems—helping churches and organizations scale with clarity and excellence.
In his most recent pastoral role, Sheldon oversaw the growth of a multi-site church that expanded from 1,600 attendees to more than 15,000 in just three years, ultimately being recognized as the fastest-growing church in America.
Today, Sheldon serves as Executive Director of the Soul x Science Network, where he equips pastors with the systems and strategies they need to structure, scale, and shepherd healthy churches. He also partners closely with Dr. R.A. Vernon and the executive team at The Word Church in Cleveland, leading in areas of service design, team development, and campus launches.
Before stepping into full-time ministry, Sheldon built a career in higher education marketing and destination branding, spearheading campaigns that broke enrollment records and won national awards. He also spent nearly a decade as a restaurant owner and operator, scaling from a single food truck to four restaurants and two trucks. That entrepreneurial background sharpened his instincts for guest experience, operational systems, and brand growth—skills he now brings into the church space.
Sheldon holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a master’s degree in Communications, both from Ohio University. This unique blend of academic training, creative strategy, entrepreneurial grit, and pastoral leadership fuels his work with Soul & Science, where he helps pastors strengthen their systems, sharpen their Sundays, and shepherd their churches into health and growth.
How do cohorts work?
-
Weekly Coaching Session
Each week for 12 weeks, you’ll dive into 90 minutes of focused coaching and live Q&A. Sessions are practical, strategic, and laser-focused on the issues that keep pastors and ministry leaders up at night. No fluff—just frameworks, tools, and wisdom you can put to work immediately.
-
Tools & Templates
You’ll walk away from every week with plug-and-play resources: org charts, guest follow-up workflows, preaching calendars, SOPs, volunteer systems, and more. These aren’t theories—they’re the same proven tools we use in growing churches.
-
Community That Multiplies
This isn’t just about the 12 weeks. You’ll build relationships with like-minded leaders from across the country who understand the pressures of ministry. The connections, collaborations, and friendships you form here will yield dividends for years to come.
-
Ongoing Support
Between sessions, you’ll stay connected through a private Slack group. It’s a space to celebrate wins, share challenges, and keep sharpening one another long after the coaching call ends.
-
Replay Access
Life in ministry is unpredictable—we get it. Every session is recorded, so you can catch up, review your hot seat, or share key insights with your staff.
FAQs
How are cohorts billed?
Cohorts are billed monthly. Payments are due at the start of each month, and failure to pay may result in being unenrolled from your cohort.
Are cohort fees refundable?
All cohort fees are non-refundable. Your commitment reserves your spot and helps us maintain a consistent group experience.
When do cohorts meet?
Cohorts meet weekly on the same day and time, barring holidays. You’ll receive a full schedule before your cohort begins so you can plan accordingly.
What if I can’t make a session?
All sessions are designed for live participation. When possible, replays or key notes may be provided, but your growth is maximized by being in the room each week.
Are cohorts confidential?
Yes. Cohorts are a confidential environment. What is shared in the group stays in the group to protect trust and authenticity.
How long is each session
Sessions typically run 60–90 minutes, depending on the cohort’s format and discussion.
How many people are in each cohort?
Group size is intentionally limited to foster honest conversation, practical coaching, and genuine community. Most cohorts include 10–20 leaders.
Who leads the cohorts?
Each cohort is led by a Soul x Science facilitator—often Dr. R.A. Vernon, Dr. Victory Vernon, or a certified Soul x Science Network coach—depending on the topic.
Can my spouse or another leader join me?
Cohorts are designed for individuals. However, some cohorts (like the Marriage Masterclass) specifically include both spouses. For other cohorts, each participant will need their own registration.
What happens if I fall behind?
The cohort pace is designed to be fast-moving. We strongly encourage prioritizing your participation. If you miss multiple sessions, you may not get the full value of the experience.
Can I switch to another cohort after enrolling?
Cohorts are curated communities, so transfers are limited. Reach out to our team before your cohort begins to explore options.
What do I need to participate?
A reliable internet connection, Zoom access (or our designated platform), and a posture of openness to grow. Resources and tools will be provided digitally.
